Welcome to Susana's blog! :)

 Hi everyone!

My name is Susana, and this is my second year teaching! This year I'm a 5th grade Science teacher, however, my true passion lays in numbers (fingers crossed I can teach high school Math next year hehe).

There are not that many things to know about me but here's some:

I'm originally from Spain, I moved to Massachusetts when I was in middle school. So naturally, I am always homesick.

I went to New York University where I studied international relations and Chinese.

I'm in my last year of Teach for America (TFA), all throughout college I thought I would be an immigration lawyer by now, but I lived in China for a couple years, and during my time there I viewed first hand the inequalities in education. This experience made me rethink my entire education journey and as soon as I came back I decided I wanted to teach.

Some more fun stuff about me: I have a borderline obsession with cows, I love photo booths (and the color pink), my favorite person in the whole wide world is my little brother, and I speak six languages!

Until next time c:
